ANCORA UNA MASCHIA E GAGLIARDA ESIBIZIONE DI FORZA DEI SOLDATI ISRAELIANI VERSO UNA RAGAZZINA PALESTINESE, A GERUSALEMME
Video: soldati dell’ occupazione israeliana pesantemente armati arrestano una ragazza di Gerusalemme

L’utente Instagram @ zalameh ( @ BDS4Justice su Twitter) ha catturato queste immagini drammatiche e il video delle forze israeliane pesantemente armate che stanno arrestando una ragazza palestinese nella parte orientale della occupata Città Vecchia di Gerusalemme nel pomeriggio di venerdì.
In una email a The Electronic Intifada, @ zalameh, un residente di Gerusalemme, ha dato la sua testimonianza oculare dell’incidente:
“Questo pomeriggio dopo il lavoro mi sono diretto verso la Città Vecchia, sono entrato attraverso la Porta di Damasco. A destra dell’ingresso ho visto più confusione del solito, così mi sono diretto vicino a dove le persone si erano riunite. C’erano circa 8 soldati (come ho contato) che circondavano questa ragazza e l’hanno ammanettata, lei era tranquilla, ma i suoi occhi mostravano paura, sembrava disorientata e non offriva alcuna resistenza.
Tutto sembrava surreale, vedere tutti questi soldati armati fino ai denti travolgere questa bambina, e i soldati si comportavano come se avessero catturato una pericolosa criminale. I soldati non volevano gente intorno, soprattutto perché avevano le loro telecamere dei telefoni , e hanno cominciato a spingerla via. Nonostante fosse stata ammanettata e completamente controllata, due soldati le tenevano un braccio ciascuno.
Indossava un maglione che diceva “I Love Palestina.” Ho provato a chiedere cosa stava succedendo, e non ho potuto ottenere nulla di concreto da parte delle persone lì, la maggior parte erano passanti ed erano sorpresi come ero io da quello che stavano vedendo. Altri soldati hanno iniziato a venire dopo circa 10 minuti fino a quando furono 15 in totale, tutti circondavano la ragazza, hanno formato un corridoio e l’hanno portata via di corsa fuori dalla Città Vecchia in una macchina della polizia.”
Sostenuto tentativo di “accoltellamento”
Mentre non è chiaro se si riferisca al medesimo incidente, il Jerusalem Post ha anche riferito oggi che “una ragazza araba di 16 anni ha tentato di accoltellare un poliziotto di frontiera con un coltello nei pressi della Porta Nablus a Gerusalemme venerdì. La sospetta è una residente del quartiere di Jabal al-Mukaber a Gerusalemme est, ha detto la polizia. “
Il giornale sostiene che “Il personale di sicurezza è riuscito a disarmare la donna e portarla sotto controllo, ma nell’operazione, uno di loro è stato ferito leggermente alla gamba. Il ferito ha ricevuto cure mediche sul posto. “
Racconto ambiguo
Tuttavia, @zalameh pone dubbi su questa versione dei fatti se davvero si riferiscono allo stesso incidente. Egli scrive:
“In primo luogo, non ho visto nessun soldato ferito. Sono sicuro che ero venuto lì proprio appena è stata arrestata e non ho visto nessuno portato fuori dalla Porta di Damasco, come sono entrato. Sarebbe stato ovvio e al secondo posto, è comune per gli israeliani trattare qualsiasi forma di reazione da palestinesi come un “attacco.” E ciò che Israele chiama spesso accoltellamento potrebbe essere con qualsiasi cosa, anche se la ragazza era andata verso un soldato con un penna, lo avrebbe definito un “tentativo di accoltellamento.”
“Una versione più credibile sarebbe che ha perso le staffe dopo una particolare provocazione o umiliazione, che per chi vive a Gerusalemme è una realtà quotidiana e questo ha innescato l’arresto,” @ zalameh ha aggiunto.
Il gruppo per i diritti umani B’Tselem ha riferito l’anno scorso che le forze di occupazione israeliane accusano spesso giovani e bambini palestinesi di attacchi violenti e poi li sottopongono ad abusi e torture, compreso l’isolamento e le minacce di stupro , al fine di farli confessare.
WAFA, l’agenzia di stampa palestinese ufficiale, ha riferito , citando “testimoni oculari”, che le forze di occupazione israeliane hanno arrestato una ragazza 16enne di Gerusalemme vicino alla Porta di Damasco “dopo essere stata aggredita e picchiata” e poi l’hanno portata in una stazione di polizia a Salah al -Din Street.
Gli arresti di bambini palestinesi sono comuni a Gerusalemme occupata.
Nel mese di novembre, le forze di occupazione israeliane hanno fatto irruzione nella casa di Gerusalemme di Zine al-Majid al fine di arrestare suo figlio di quattro anni.

Video: Heavily armed Israeli occupation soldiers arrest Jerusalem girl
@zalameh (@BDS4Justice on Twitter) captured these dramatic images and videos of heavily armed Israeli forces arresting a Palestinian girl in eastern occupied Jerusalem’s Old City on Friday afternoon.
In an email to The Electronic Intifada, @zalameh, a resident of Jerusalem, gave his eyewitness account of the incident:
This afternoon after work I headed to the Old City, I entered through Damascus Gate. Right at the entrance I saw more commotion than usual so I headed close to where people were congregating. There were about 8 soldiers (as I counted) surrounding this girl and handcuffing her, she was quiet but her eyes showed fear, she seemed bewildered and was offering no resistance.
It all seemed surreal to see all these soldiers armed to the teeth overwhelming this child and the soldiers were behaving as if they had caught a dangerous criminal. The soldiers did not want people around, especially as they had their phone cameras out, and started pushing them away. Despite being handcuffed and completely restrained, two soldiers were holding her arms each.
She was wearing a sweater saying “I <3 Palestine.” I tried asking what was happening and I couldn’t get anything concrete from people there, most were passers-by and they were as surprised as I was by what they were seeing. More soldiers started coming after about 10 minutes until they were 15 in total, all surrounding the girl, they formed a corridor and rushed her out of the Old City to a police car.
Claimed “stabbing” attempt
While it is unclear if it is referring to the same incident, The Jerusalem Post also reportedtoday that a “16-year-old Arab girl attempted to stab a border police officer with a knife near Nablus Gate in Jerusalem on Friday. The suspect is a resident of the Jabal al-Mukaber neighborhood in east Jerusalem, police said.”
The newspaper claimed that “Security personnel succeeded in disarming the woman and bringing her under control but in the process, one of them was injured lightly in the leg. The injured man received medical treatment at the scene.”
Doubtful account
However, @zalameh casts doubt on this version of events if indeed it refers to the same incident. He writes:
First, I saw no soldier injured. I am confident I came there just as she was arrested and I saw no one being taken out from Damascus Gate as I entered. That would have been obvious and second, it is common for Israelis to treat any form of reaction from Palestinians as an “attack.” And what Israel often calls stabbing could be with anything, even if the girl had a go at a soldier with a pen, they would have called it a “stabbing attempt.”
“A more credible version would be that she lost her temper after a particular provocation or humiliation, which for those who live in Jerusalem is a daily reality and this triggered the arrest,” @zalameh added.
The human rights groups B’Tselem reported last year that Israeli occupation forces frequently accuse Palestinian youths and children of violent attacks and then subject them to abuse and torture, including solitary confinement and threats of rape in order to get them to confess.
WAFA, the official Palestinian news agency, reported, citing “eyewitnesses,” that Israeli occupation forces arrested a 16-year-old Jerusalem girl near the Damascus Gate “after assaulting and beating her” and then took her to a police station on Salah al-Din Street.
Arrests of Palestinian children are common in occupied Jerusalem.
In November, Israeli occupation forces raided the Jerusalem home of Zine al-Majid in order to arrest his four-year-old son.
